Allen Hurns: Is He Worth The Money?

Allen Hurns had a career year for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015, earning him a new four-year contract worth $40 million just two seasons after going undrafted. Did the Jaguars make the right move?

Former Miami Hurricanes undrafted free agent Allen Hurns just recently earned his big payday. After an impressive rookie season and a breakout sophomore campaign, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed the 24-year-old wideout to a four-year, $40 million extension. The deal includes $20 million guaranteed and a potential to earn an additional $4 million in incentives. The third-year wideout is still under contract for 2016 for just $600,000, so he is now locked up for the next five years.
