San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde is currently dealing with a stress fracture in his foot. Nonetheless, he has been playing through the injury. Head coach Jim Tomsula does not expected that to change this week. Despite limiting his practice reps, Tomsula fully expects Hyde to be out there against the St. Louis Rams.
Fantasy Analysis:
In what appears to be a lost season, it would seem reasonable to allow Hyde to rest. On the other hand, it may also be too early to throw in the towel. I guess as a franchise you can't just admit that you're losers and your season is lost.
