2017 Fantasy Football: Todd Gurley Impressing as a Pass-Catcher

There’s no way around it: Todd Gurley disappointed fantasy owners in 2016. He had a breakout rookie season in 2015, and was a consensus first-round fantasy pick in 2016. After averaging just 3.2 yards per carry and failing to even reach 900 rushing yards, someone’s got to figure out how to make this all work.

While there is slight concern over Gurley’s production, the general thought is that he can still be an elite-level NFL running back. Part of that is being useful on all three downs, and from Gurley’s display of hands and routes in training camp thus far, he is on his way to never leaving the field.
