The competition for starting quarterback may be over for the Cleveland Browns. Four quarterbacks have battled it out in training camp. In search for the starter, the Browns took over Brock Osweiler’s massive contract from the Houston Texans in hope he would be the answer. Then two returning quarterbacks for the Browns are Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan. They both have hoped to be the one to be called the starter. Well just in case they didn’t work out, the Browns drafted second-rounder DeShone Kizer from Notre Dame.
After the Browns’ third preseason game, Head coach Hue Jackson indicated rookie quarterback Kizer will start week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
