In 2015, then Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles tore his right ACL. The injury and subsequent surgeries to repair the ACL and meniscus caused him to play in just eight total games from 2015 to 2016.
The 30-year-old was understandly released by the Chiefs this offseason. Charles then signed on with AFC West division rival Denver Broncos. After shaking off his knee issues, Charles has finally been medically cleared for the start of training camp.
Joseph said Jamaal Charles has been cleared for everything. Team will start him slow, though.

As Nick Jhabvala of The Denver Post stated, Charles will be brought along slowly, as he has much of the offseason.
