This situation with Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck is annoying. For me as someone who covers the Colts, doubly, but also as a member of the fantasy football community.
If you have been living under a rock, I’ll fill you in. Luck had surgery to repair the labrum in his right, throwing shoulder in late January. The Colts are being extra careful about his rehab process because they want him back at 100%, and they want him to be his best self for the next 10-plus years. They won’t sacrifice Luck’s long-term health just for him to be available for early-season matchups with the Rams, Cardinals and Browns (or any team, for that matter).
