After undergoing offseason surgery, Cam Newton is still trying to get back on track entering week three.
Cam Newton rested most of the preseason and looked pretty rusty in week one’s victory over the 49ers. That carried over into this week’s ugly victory against the Bills, as both teams failed to score a touchdown.
Through two weeks of play, Newton has completed 34 of 57 passes for only 399 yards and 1 TD. He has also been highly inaccurate, missing open receivers on a few occasions. He had Christian McCaffrey wide open on a rollout for a TD, but badly overthrew him in the end zone.
