The Jacksonville Jaguars finished the 2016 season at a staggering 3-13. In the past six years, they haven’t had a winning season. In 2014, the Jaguars were trying to turn that trend around by drafting quarterback Blake Bortles in the first round.
Head coach Doug Marrone said he “was concerned about Blake Bortles following a poor performance at Saturday’s practice.” Marrone went on to elaborate that the Jaguars were building up the run-first game for Bortles. The Jaguars drafted Leonard Fournette in the first round this year. The concern that Marrone was talking about was in Saturday’s practice, with full pads, Bortles threw 5 interceptions.
