The wide receiver group is deep this year, so you can get away with starting a lot of different players. If you're torn between a few players, use my rankings to figure out who to start and who to sit. I list the top 50 because there aren't any worth playing beyond that.
Byes: New York Giants & San Francisco 49ers
Updated: Oct. 25
Other Rankings: QB, RB, WR, TE, DEF
| Rank & Player | Opponent | Notes |
| 1. Demaryius Thomas, DEN | SD | Thomas is always a safe start and has a good matchup. UPDATE: Despite not scoring, Thomas still has an acceptable effort. |
| 2. Antonio Brown, PIT | IND | Brown has been nothing short of spectacular. |
| 3. Jordy Nelson, GB | @NO | Nelson has been on fire. |
| 4. Dez Bryant, DAL | WAS | Even with double coverage, Dez has played well this season. |
| 5. Randall Cobb, GB | @NO | Given that the Packers throw the ball a ton, Cobb is safe play. |
| 6. Julio Jones, ATL | DET | Not an ideal matchup for Julio. |
| 7. Golden Tate, DET | @ATL | With Calvin still out, Tate's value skyrockets. |
| 8. Brandon Marshall, CHI | @NE | Marshall hasn't looked himself. I think he returns to form after the bye. |
| 9. Jeremy Maclin, PHI | ARI | Maclin has an incredible amount of targets. Keep playing him. |
| 10. Alshon Jeffery, CHI | @NE | Jeffery laid an egg last week, but I think that was a fluke. |
| 11. T.Y. Hilton, IND | @PIT | Hilton is proving worthy of starting. |
| 12. Mike Wallace, MIA | @JAC | Great matchup for Wallace this week. |
| 13. Emmanuel Sanders, DEN | SD | Sanders' catches have been declining, but he's still wroth a play. UPDATE: Wow, what a game from Sanders. |
| 14. Vincent Jackson, TB | MIN | He's not a WR1, but Jackson is worth a start. |
| 15. Michael Floyd, ARI | PHI | Floyd has been inconsistent, but this looks like it might be his breakout season. |
| 16. Kelvin Benjamin, CAR | SEA | The Seahawks defense hasn't been great, but maybe that changes. |
| 17. Julian Edelman, NE | CHI | Great matchup for Edleman. |
| 18. Doug Baldwin, SEA | @STL | No Harvin really helps Baldwin. He's available in a surprising amount of leagues. |
| 19. Mohammed Sanu, CIN | BAL | It all depends on if A.J. Green returns. |
| 20. Steve Smith, BAL | @CIN | Torrey Smith has been getting more looks, which hurts Steve Smith. |
| 21. Sammy Watkins, BUF | @NYJ | I think playing with Kyle Orton really helps Watkins. |
| 22. Andre Johnson, HOU | @TEN | Johnson is simply seeing more targets than Hopkins right now. |
| 23. Roddy White, ATL | DET | Tough matchup for White, but he's still worth a flex play. |
| 24. Pierre Garcon, WAS | @DAL | Tough matchup for Pierre. |
| 25. DeAndre Hopkins, HOU | @TEN | You can play Hopkins. He looked solid last time out. |
| 26. DeSean Jackson, WAS | @DAL | I love Colt McCoy more than anyone, but he doesn't help an inconsistent Jackson's stock. |
| 27. Terrance Williams, DAL | WAS | Teams are focused on Dez, which means Williams is getting more looks. He's still a flex at best though. |
| 28. Eric Decker, NYJ | BUF | Decker needs touchdowns to be worth playing, and that's tough to bank on. |
| 29. Larry Fitzgerald, ARI | PHI | Fitz hasn't done much of anything this season. |
| 30. Marques Colston, NO | GB | Colston is often a boom-or-bust play. |
| 31. Keenan Allen, SD | @DEN | Allen has really disappointed me this season. :( UPDATE: A solid 13 points from Allen. |
| 32. Percy Harvin, NYJ | BUF | A new playbook and a new QB is not the recipe for fantasy success. |
| 33. Cecil Shorts, JAC | MIA | Shorts has a good matchup, but hasn't shown any consistency. |
| 34. Brandin Cooks, NO | GB | Cooks hasn't done much since a great first week. |
| 35. Torrey Smith, BAL | @CIN | Don't fall for the TD trap. He's not catching many passes. |
| 36. Wes Welker, DEN | SD | Welker isn't getting enough targets to justify playing. |
| 37. Andre Holmes, OAK | @CLE | Holmes is completely boom-or-bust. |
| 38. Kendall Wright, TEN | HOU | Until Wright becomes consistent, he is a WR3 at best right now. |
| 39. Brian Quick, STL | @KC | Austin Davis likes going to Quick, but Davis doesn't throw much. |
| 40. Cordarrelle Patterson, MIN | @TB | :( |
| 41. Allen Robinson, JAC | MIA | Robinson has actually put up solid numbers lately. |
| 42. James Jones, OAK | @CLE | Someone has to catch passes in Oakland. |
| 43. Justin Hunter, TEN | HOU | I think Hunter's 15 point effort in Week 15 was a fluke. Starting Mettenberger won't help. |
| 44. Markus Wheaton, PIT | IND | I expected more from Wheaton this season. |
| 45. Eddie Royal, SD | @DEN | As predicted, Royal has come back down to earth. |
| 46. Greg Jennings, MIN | @TB | Jennings is a backup. |
| 47. Dwayne Bowe, KC | STL | Do you trust Bowe? Cause I don't. |
| 48. A.J. Green, CIN | BAL | I don't think Green can go this week. |
| 49. Calvin Johnson, DET | @ATL | Looks like no Calvin again this week. |
| 50. Reggie Wayne, IND | @HOU | Wayne's production has declined lately. He's banged up and I'm not sure he plays this week. UPDATE: He's out for Sunday. |
