Yannick Bolasie has revealed that Romelu Lukaku helped influence his decision to move to Everton.
The two players are friends, largely due to their Congolese heritage and the fact that he knows one of Lukaku’s cousins.
Bolasie is looking forward to linking up with the striker who scored 25 goals in all competition for the Toffees last season.
“I know Rom from ages ago - he’s been wanting me to come here for ages but I’ve always told him that I was kind of settled where I was,” Bolasie explained. “Now I’ve taken the step and I’m looking forward to it.
