Yannick Bolasie will complete his £25million move to Everton early next week – but could still play for Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The forward will formally join the Toffees next week, but Palace manager Alan Pardew is planning to name the Congo international on the bench for Saturday's Premier League opener against West Brom.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman will be eager for Bolasie not to be introduced into proceedings ahead of his switch to Merseyside.
Introducing Bolasie would open up the possibility of the forward sustaining an injury that could put the big-money move in jeopardy.
