What The Papers Say - 3 December

The Everton coverage in Sunday’s newspapers is dominated by reaction to the Blues’ 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town in manager Sam Allardyce’s first game in charge.
The Sunday Telegraph says Allardyce “got off to a flier”, while the Guardian focuses on the fact he became the first man to savour victory with seven different Premier League clubs.

Attention does begin to turn towards the January transfer window however, with the Sunday Mirror claiming the Blues are interested in Sevilla midfielder Steven Nzonzi and Watford forward Troy Deeney.

The Mail also list Nzonzi as a potential target, saying the France international has fallen out with coach Eduardo Berizzo after being substituted against Liverpool in their Champions League meeting last month.
