What The Papers Say - 28 May

The views on this page are taken from the local and national media and do not necessarily reflect the views of Everton.

Today’s Liverpool Echo carries quotes from Davy Klaassen, who says he feels “at home” at Everton and is determined to fight for his place in the Toffees first-team next season.

The midfielder – who signed for the Blues from Ajax last summer – also described the Club as “excellent” and vowed to return for pre-season training in “top condition”.

Seamus Coleman also features in the Echo. Speaking ahead of the Republic of Ireland’s friendly clash against France in Paris tonight, he admits that – with the World Cup on the horizon – “the disappointment has grown a little bit” that Ireland missed out on qualification.
