West Ham miss out on signing Ibrahim Sangare after he decides against Premier League move and puts pen to paper on new five-year deal at PSV Eindhoven with David Moyes forced to search for alternative options

West Ham target Ibrahim Sangare has penned a new five-year deal at PSV Eindhoven.

The Hammers had turned their attentions to the Ivory Coast international after missing out on Amadou Onana to Everton with David Moyes keen to bolster his side's midfield options.

Upon the announcement of the deal, Sangare spoke of his delight at remaining in Eindhoven and said that he wanted to become a 'champion' with PSV and reach the Champions League.

The midfielder has opted to remain with PSV until at least 2027 after penning a new deal

He said: 'I have felt at home since the first day, the way I am received and how people treat me makes me very happy.
