Unsy: Cup A Great Development Tool

David Unsworth was pleased with another valuable experience despite watching his Everton side fall to a 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.

The Blues took an early lead courtesy of an own goal after a strong run by David Henen, but two goals in the final nine minutes earned the hosts an unlikely victory at the LCI Rail Stadium.

The second of those strikes came via the penalty spot - after referee Lee Probert controversially adjudged Bassala Sambou to have fouled Robins striker James Dayton inside the area.
