Rangers are in talks to sign Everton striker Youssef Chermiti on loan.
Manager David Moyes left the young Portuguese striker out of Everton's line-up to face Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup last night as he prepares to move away for more regular game time.
The 21-year old cost Everton £12.5m from Sporting Lisbon in 2023 and has battled to make an impression in an often struggling side with chances few and far between.
Moyes has signed Thierno Barry from Villarreal this summer and wants to add another experienced forward before the window closes.
