Everton Ladies trio Meg Finnigan, Chloe Kelly and Taylor Hinds featured as England got their Under-20 World Cup campaign off to a flying start with a 3-1 win over defending champions North Korea.
Finnigan and Kelly both completed the 90 minutes in Dinan, France, while Hinds came on as a 71st-minute substitute as the young Lionesses produced a commanding display.
Alessia Russo bagged a double and Georgia Stanway also got on the scoresheet for Mo Marley’s side, who face Brazil on Wednesday in their next Group B clash.
England then round off their group stage campaign against Mexico on Sunday.
