Tottenham are hopeful of concluding the £15million signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton this week after a breakthrough in talks.
Spurs defender Kyle Walker-Peters will go in the opposite direction in a separate deal worth £12m, after clearly impressing since being on loan at St Mary's for the second half of the 2019-20 season.
Denmark international Hojbjerg had turned down the chance to move to Everton as he held out for Southampton to agree terms with his favoured club.

The 24-year-old wanted to link up with Jose Mourinho and will provide the protection for his defence.
