'Tomorrow I'm just expecting EVERYONE together fighting': Frank Lampard calls on his Everton stars to play 'at a level of passion that engages the fans' against Newcastle in bid to lift mood around relegation-threatened side

Frank Lampard has urged every member of his Everton team to 'fight together' and help get the crowd going with a passionate display against Newcastle.

Everton go into Thursday's match in 17th place in the Premier League table, above Watford on goal difference alone, albeit with three games in hand on the Hornets.

Lampard has won only one league match during his six weeks in charge as the threat of relegation becomes ever more real and a mood of pessimism pervades around Goodison Park, but he urged the fans to get behind the players.
