Seamus Coleman helped inspire a 2-1 defeat of Arsenal at Goodison Park on Tuesday night, then declared: "That was the Everton I know."
Roared on by a sell-out crowd, goals from Coleman and Ashley Williams – his first for the Toffees – saw Ronald Koeman's men come from behind to end a run that had brought just one win in 10 league games.
And, speaking directly after the final whistle, a delighted Coleman said he hopes victory over the Gunners can prove a turning point in the Blues' season.
“That was very satisfying,” he told evertontv.
