A close encounter with a pride of lions, a lesson on Maasai culture and a visit to the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ were just some of the highlights on day two of Leon Osman’s African adventure.
Having embarked on a cycle tour of Dar es Salaam the previous day, Ossie headed to the north of Tanzania to take in some of the most spectacular sights this enchanting land has to offer.
With the roads already heavy with traffic at 6am, the travelling party were taken by police escort to the airport for a two-hour flight to Lake Manyara, one of Tanzania’s most popular safari destinations.
