Andy Spence was delighted to see Everton Ladies collect their first points of the Women’s Super League season with a dominant display away at Yeovil Town.
“It was a well deserved win against a Yeovil team that are always difficult to play against,” said Spence after a 17th minute Courtney Sweetman-Kirk goal and a Chloe Kelly penalty on the hour had given the Blue Girls a deserved 2-0 victory in the south west.
“We took control early on in the game, took the lead with an excellent goal by Courtney and should have extended it before half-time.
