An Everton fan group have slammed Sky Sports News for 'insinuating that Goodison Park is comparable to a dangerous war zone' following their recent coverage.
Prior to Everton's 3-0 win over Newcastle on Thursday night, Sky Sports reporter Sanny Rudravajhala previewed the match 'on the other side of the river Mersey'.
Rudravajhala claimed it was because 'Everton fans are continuing to feel very frustrated and upset about this points deduction' and spoke of plans for a protest during the match.
In response, Everton fan group 'The 1878s' took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to lament the decision made by the broadcasters.
