Marco Silva says Everton must demonstrate “quality, character and personality” in their bid for victory at Burnley on Boxing Day.
Three points at Turf Moor would likely return Everton to the Premier League’s top half and provide a positive response to the disappointment of Sunday’s Goodison Park defeat by Tottenham Hotspur.
And the manager is urging his team to rediscover the form which had them climbing the table last month with a sequence of five wins and only one defeat in seven games.
“We had the good run – in seven games we lost only to Manchester United – and now it is a bad run,” said Silva.
