Shane Long used breathing techniques to help Republic of Ireland team-mate Seamus Coleman, the Southampton striker's wife has revealed.
Coleman suffered a horrific double leg break during Friday night's World Cup qualifier against Wales after a tackle from defender Neil Taylor and was seen being consoled by Long.
While Taylor was being sent off by referee Nicola Rizzoli, Long was not simply passing on words of encouragement to his compatriot.
His wife revealed that Long used techniques learned during her pregnancy to help Coleman through the traumatic incident.
