Premier League clubs are often criticised for not giving British coaches a chance of taking up management roles but that cannot be said this season.
Sam Allardyce's arrival at Everton means there are now nine British managers in the top flight with the former England manager joining Sean Dyche, Chris Hughton, Eddie Howe, Mark Hughes, Alan Pardew, David Moyes, Paul Clement and Roy Hodgson.
Seven of the aforementioned coaches are managing the bottom seven with Bournemouth, Stoke, West Brom, West Ham, Swansea, Crystal Palace and now Everton hoping a British manager ensures they stay in the Premier League.
