Ronald Koeman has warned Everton’s squad about their off-field responsibilities and the need for a disciplined lifestyle as he drew a line under the Wayne Rooney saga.
Everton fined Rooney two weeks’ wages, amounting to £300,000, after he was given a two-year driving ban on Monday following his arrest for being almost three times over the legal alcohol limit on September 1.
Koeman (right) spoke to the former England captain about the need to look after himself in his free time.
But the manager, who will restore Rooney to his starting line-up against Bournemouth on Saturday, has also had words with the rest of his group.
