Everton boss Ronald Koeman says Romelu Lukaku is likely to be fit for the start of the season despite needing stitches in his heel.
Lukaku had to be substituted during Everton's 1-0 friendly defeat to Espanyol as a result of the problem but Koeman said he should be available to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
"Yes, it is his heel," Koeman said. "There was a lot of blood on his ankle and he had three stitches."
He added that Lukaku, who has been linked with a return to Chelsea this summer, is "normally" not a doubt for the Premier League opener at Goodison Park and that the problem is "nothing serious.
