Ronald Koeman expects Romelu Lukaku to be fit for Everton’s trip to West Bromwich Albion next weekend.
The Belgian striker watched on from the sidelines as Ross Barkley’s early free-kick helped the Blues to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
But, speaking after his first official game in charge of the Club, Koeman says Lukaku will be available for the trip to the Hawthorns after missing the Toffees’ opener with a heel injury.
Koeman said: “He was already a doubt for today, but we had good hope that he was going to start.
