Rio Ferdinand believes Anthony Gordon must show the courage to tell manager Frank Lampard and the club's board if he wants to leave Everton for Chelsea.
The Everton academy product is the subject of strong interest from Chelsea with the closure of the transfer window rapidly approaching.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay £60million for Gordon, who was on the scoresheet for Everton against Brentford last weekend.
