Peter Reid admits he's 'had a shandy' as Everton hero joins fellow Goodison Park legends to bid farewell to iconic ground - days after Sky Sports were forced to apologise after he dropped an F-bomb in pre-recorded message

Everton legend Peter Reid appeared to be in high spirits to say the least as he joined fellow club greats to say an emotional farewell to Goodison Park on Sunday.

The 1980s title-winning midfielder was interviewed live on TNT Sports from the pitch just after 11am ahead of Everton's final men's match at the famous old ground, a Premier League clash against Southampton.

Reid, who had attended a breakfast reception earlier in the day, admitted to having 'a shandy' before arriving, though his slurred delivery and flushed face hinted it may have been more than just the one.
