Courtney Sweetman-Kirk insists there will be no room for sentiment as she bids to help Everton pick up their first win of the campaign against former club Doncaster Rovers Belles on Thursday.
The Blue Girls kick off their Continental Cup group campaign when they head to the Keepmoat Stadium to face the WSL 2 high-fliers, kick-off 7.30pm.
Sweetman-Kirk beat the transfer deadline to make the switch from the Belles to Everton last month, and while she will enjoy returning to her former club, the forward intends to leave with all three points.
“It will be great to see my friends there but at the end of the day, I am an Everton player now,” she said.
