Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has confirmed £60million record signing Alexander Isak will be out until after the World Cup.
Sportsmail exclusively revealed earlier this week that the Swedish striker would likely be ruled out until after the tournament in Qatar after suffering a setback in his recovery from a thigh injury.
'We don't think we will see him again before the World Cup. He has had a setback on his thigh,' Howe told reporters ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Everton.
'It's very frustrating for him.
