Aiden McGeady has joined Sunderland on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old winger, who joined the Blues from Spartak Moscow in January 2014, joins the Championship outfit on a three-year-deal.
In total, McGeady made 43 appearances for the Toffees, scoring one goal.
He will link up with former Everton teammates Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning, both of whom are on season-long loans, Darron Gibson and Bryan Oviedo at the Stadium of Light.
