Manchester City 5-0 Everton: Magnificent Sergio Aguero at the double to seal fairytale Premier League farewell as swaggering champions rout Toffees with Kevin de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden also on target

Sergio Aguero waved farewell to Premier League football at Manchester City after scoring a superb second-half brace in the champions' emphatic 5-0 victory over Everton.

Club legend Aguero, who is also City's all-time record scorer, was introduced to devastating effect and treated the crowd to an electric cameo, which saw him net twice in quick succession.

Kevin de Bruyne started City's title party on the pitch after slotting home at the end of a neat, flowing move - and Gabriel Jesus doubled the hosts' lead just minutes later.

The rout continued after the break with starlet Phil Foden rolling home in ruthless fashion, and City then stepped back to allow the mercurial Aguero to bow out in style.
