Simone Magill revealed she intended to “show who she is as a player” after making her first start of the campaign in Everton Ladies' 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
The Northern Ireland striker has had to settle for a place on the bench so far this season with the likes of Inessa Kaagman and Claudia Walker starting 2018-19 in the forward positions.
But Magill was handed a place in the starting XI as Andy Spence refreshed a side playing their third match in eight days and the 23-year-old produced an eye-catching display against the reigning WSL champions.
