Aaron Lennon has sent out a message of thanks for the 'incredible' support he has received since receiving care and treatment for a stress-related illness.
The Everton winger is back in pre-season training with the Blues, two months after the football world united to support the 30-year-old.
And in a message posted on his Twitter account, Lennon said: "It's great to be back after a difficult period. I've had a good first week of training and I can't wait to kick on now.
"I want to thank all the staff and patients at The Priory in both Darlington and Altrincham and all the staff at Salford Royal Hospital.
