Leeds to take disciplinary action against Wilfried Gnonto after the Italian winger refuses to play for club as he tries to force move out of Elland Road

Leeds United are to take disciplinary action against winger Wilfried Gnonto after he refused to play in Saturday's game against Birmingham City.

The Italy international has not travelled with the squad and is facing a fine as he tries to force a move away.

Mail Sport revealed on Wednesday that Gnonto had asked not to be considered to play for Leeds against Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup and afterwards manager Daniel Farke confirmed the 19-year-old had made himself 'unavailable'.

Gnonto and his representatives have been told he will not be sold this summer despite strong interest from Everton.
