Ladies Must Be Brave At Reading, Says Herst

Jen Herst has called on Everton Ladies to show the “bravery” needed to lift the team off the bottom of the Women’s Super League table.

The interim Head Coach will oversee her second match in temporary charge when the Toffees head to Adams Park to face Reading on Sunday.

A positive result against the Royals, plus a defeat for Yeovil Town – who host Manchester City on Sunday - could see the Blue Girls move ahead of the Glovers.

Herst admits the effect that would have on her players would be “huge” and could spark a run of form that would move Everton away from the drop zone.
