Ronald Koeman has promised to the take the EFL Cup “very seriously” and will field a strong side in Tuesday’s second-round tie against Yeovil Town.
The manager has revealed that he will only make a small number of changes from the team that he selected against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Tickets are still available for the Goodison cup tie, which is the first ever competitive meeting between the two clubs.
“I like to win every competition and we will take it very seriously,” Koeman said. “I’m not a manager to make eight or nine changes in the team because we are starting in a new situation.
