Kings of the crosses! Everton take to the wings to bombard Southampton as Benitez gets perfect start

Everton's players are used to change and having one managerial doyen for another — Rafa Benitez instead of Carlo Ancelotti — is something they are taking in their stride.

After all, when Dominic Calvert-Lewin completed their comeback win on Saturday with a diving header, it was the seventh different manager he had scored for since arriving from Sheffield United in 2016.

Still only 24, the England striker has learned to be a pragmatist regardless of the outside noise that accompanied Benitez's appointment because of his past Liverpool connections. As it happened, the Spaniard received a great ovation when introduced to the crowd before kick-off.
