Jamie Carragher feels James Maddison has 'too much quality' to miss out on England's World Cup squad, and has tipped Gareth Southgate to take the Leicester playmaker to Qatar.
Maddison has started the season in fine form at the King Power Stadium, registering six goals and four assists in the Premier League. He set up both of Leicester's goals in their 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday.
However, he has been in the international wilderness in recent years, with Southgate preferring the likes of Mason Mount, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.
