Ecuador striker Enner Valencia joined Everton on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day in August 2016.

The forward arrived from West Ham United, where he scored 10 goals and provided eight assists during a two-year spell.

Valencia’s time in the Premier League has yielded some stunning strikes, among them a screamer on his full Hammers debut against Hull City.

He had previously starred in the Mexican league, scoring 18 times in 23 games for Pachuca in 2014 and being the league’s top scorer that season.

Prior to moving to Mexico, Valencia had emerged in his homeland for Emelec, where his goals and assists helped them claim the Ecuadorian league title in 2013.
