Tony Cascarino believes Romelu Lukaku’s career path will provide comfort to Everton amid contract stand-off reports.
The Belgian has rejected the offer of a new five-year deal at Goodison Park despite his agent, Mino Raiola, telling talkSPORT he was 99.999% certain to commit his future to the Merseyside club.
Lukaku is likely to command serious interest in the summer transfer window after scoring 20 times already this season.
But Cascarino suggested Lukaku will only leave Everton should he be guaranteed regular football – something that could be hard to come by at Europe’s top clubs.
