Jamie Carragher believes that Cody Gakpo is capable of replicating Roberto Firmino's role for Liverpool.
Gakpo was deployed up front against Everton on Monday night and proceeded to score his first Liverpool goal in his seventh appearance for the club.
The 23-year-old is also capable of playing out wide, but Carragher believes that Gakpo can thrive in attack and drew a parallel with the way in which Firmino drops deep to win possession.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher said: 'It's interesting watching him, because he's more a of a Firmino than some of the other players.
