Everton midfielder Gana netted Senegal’s second goal of the night, with his side’s convincing victory putting them top of qualification Group A.
Olympiakos defender Pape Abou Cisse poked home from close range finish to put the Senegalese ahead on 17 minutes.
Buoyed by the opener, the home team doubled their led just a minute later – the onrushing Gana arriving late in the box to slot home after a fine team move.
