Frank Lampard is 'excited' to have Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek at Everton after pair arrived on deadline day... but newly-appointed boss will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for his first game in charge due to a 'small knock'

Frank Lampard has spoken of his happiness at bringing midfield pair Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek to Everton as the newly-appointed manager prepares for his first game in charge of the club.

Lampard will be in the dugout for the Toffees' FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Brentford on Saturday, following his appointment on a two-and-a-half year deal on Monday afternoon.

The 43-year-old joined the Goodison Park outfit on the deadline day of the January transfer window and with just hours left of it he acted fast to sign Alli from Tottenham and acquire Van de Beek on loan for the rest of the season from Manchester United.
