Frank Lampard has enjoyed a big win over Brentford, two major signings and a warm welcome from the fans... but the former Chelsea boss has a reality check with two HUGE games against Newcastle and Leeds as he bids to dispel fears of relegation

Honeymoons don't last too long at Everton - and there won't be any exception for Frank Lampard, no matter how rosy his start at Goodison Park has been.

It's very much back to reality after a thumping 4-1 win over Brentford in his first game in charge. Whether he likes it or not, the Toffees are right in the middle of a relegation scrap - and he has the chance to immediately put daylight between their rivals and brush off the unthinkable threat of the drop.

It's going so well for the Chelsea boss that you almost forget he's only managed one cup game.
