An Everton fan who fell ill at Saturday’s match against Middlesbrough has thanked the Club and supporters for their help and concern.
The 64-year-old, who has asked not to be named, suffered a seizure midway through the second half and was taken by paramedics to Aintree Hospital, where he was treated overnight.
After being released from hospital, the Cheshire-based Blue said: “I just wanted to thank the medical staff, stewards and fans who sat around us for the fantastic way I was dealt with.
“I was unconscious for most of it following my seizure but my son described how great everyone was.
