Former Real Madrid and Everton star James Rodriguez has had his contract with Greek club Olympiacos terminated after just eight months at the club.
The 31-year-old has struggled to find his best form in recent years after stints with the Merseyside club, Qatari side Al-Rayyan SC and, most-recently, Olympiacos.
So much had been promised in Rodriguez's career, after his scintillating displays throughout the 2014 World Cup, however he now stands as a free agent in the market.
The Colombian star took to social media to say farewell to the fans that he's known for eight months.
